Missie grew up in Georgetown and currently lives in Lexington.  She began working for Mr. Lynch in 1982 and has been with the firm since then.  She graduated from the University of Kentucky and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants.  She enjoys getting to know her clients and solving their accounting issues in a way that gives them peace of mind.

Missie currently serves as Treasurer for the AMEN House, a non-profit who serves Scott County residents with food insecurities.  She also serves on the Executive Committee and Board of UK’s Club at Spindletop Hall and was Treasurer from 2015 through 2020.  She was active in her son’s schools when they were young by serving as President of the Christ the King Parent Teacher Organization, Den Mother for Christ the King Boy Scout Pack 93, and chairing various events for Christ the King and Lexington Catholic.

Missie and her husband Ed have three adult sons – Patrick, Francis (Brennan) and Colin (Devin).  They have two beautiful granddaughters: Maeve and Quinn.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, needlepoint projects and exercising.
